1989年毕业于上海大学美术学院雕塑系

1993入德国纽伦堡造型艺术学院雕塑系

1999 获德国纽伦堡造型艺术学院雕塑MEISTERSCHUELERIN“大师级学生”学位

2002德国纽伦堡造型艺术学院开放的艺术空间,获硕士学位

2004至今（德国）上海德汇金格景观艺术设计有限公司总设计师

2014成立周小平工作室

1998雕塑《韵律》获德国巴伐利亚州Danna大奖

2004上海梦清园雕塑《听水》获2004年全国城市雕塑优秀奖

2006雕塑《彩福豆》《豆凳》获2006年全国城市雕塑优秀奖

2006雕塑《跳舞的香蕉皮》《甜西瓜》《红苹果》获2006年全国城市雕塑优秀奖

2007作品《樱桃与茶盅》被上海城市雕塑艺术中心收藏

2011上海消防训练基地 《生命万岁》系列雕塑，获2011年全国城市雕塑优秀奖
